Hello friends, welcome to mathsmell. Aaj hum janenge maths ki bahut he important part fraction ki bare me. Iss post me app janpayenge basic concept of fraction hindi me, Simple fraction and decimal fraction kya hote hai and some important fact related to simple and decimal fractions.

Fractions mathematics ke bahut he important topic hai. Bahut sare competitive exams me fractions se related questions puche jate hai lekin basic concept na hone ki karan question ki solution kar nahi pate. Isliye iss post ko dhayan se pura read kare taki fractions se related sari confusions dur ho jaye.

WHAT IS FRACTIONS:
Sabse phele hum janenge fraction ki definition kya hote hai.
Jab koi digit ko p/q (q not equal zero) form me represent karte hai,tabe usse fraction kehte hai.here p is called numerator and q is called denominator.
For examples: 2 / 3 is a fraction; here 2 is numerator and 5 is denominator.

Jab koi 1 bastu ko bahut sare equal parts me divide karte hai, tube har ek part ko fractions kehte hai.
For example: agar 1 ko 5 equal parts me divide karte hai to har ek part me 1/5 hoga. here 1/5 is a fraction.

Definition of numerator and denominator:
Fractions ki upar ke part ko Numerator kehte hai and fractions ki niche wala part ko denominator kehte hai.
For example : 2/3 ek fraction hai iss fraction me numerator = 2 and denominator = 3.

Type of fractions :
Aise to bahut sare different types ki fractions hote hai but iss post me main two type ke bare me janenge.

Simple fractions :
Simple fractions hum uss fraction ko kahenge  jis fraction ki denominator other than power of 10 hote hai. simple fractions ko VULGAR fraction bhi kehte hai.
For example : 2/5, 2/7, 3/5, 7/9, ......  etc.

Decimal Fractions :
Decimal fractions bho fractions hote hai, jis fractions ke denominator hamesa 10 ke power me hote hai.
For example : 10th part of 7 = 7 / 10.
                          10th part of 3 = 3 / 10.

 Important fact related to simple and decimal fractions :

  • Agar Numerator = Denominator hote hai, tube fractions ki value hamesa 1 hote hai.
  • Agar kisi fractions ke denominator '0' hai, tube fractions ki value infinity hote hai.
  • Agar fraction ki numerator 0 hua to fraction ki value bho 0 hoga.
  • Fraction ki numerator and denominator ke beach me 1 ke alaba dusra koi factors nahi hai to uss form ko fractions ki lowest form kehte hai.
  • Agar fractions ke numerator and denominator ko same number se multiplied or divided kiya jaye to fraction ki value ka koi badlav nahi hoga.
