Trick1:
Agar T years ago father ki age son ki age se X time hua and present time father ki age son ki age se Y times hai. tube
Example:- The age of father 6 years ago was 3 times the age of his son. Present time, the father's age will be 2 times that of his son. Find the present age of father and son.
Soln: Here X = 3, Y = 2 and T = 6. Put thes valu in the above tricks, we get
Son present age = 6(3 - 1) / (3 - 2) = 12 years and Father present age = 2[6(3 - 1) / (3 - 2)] = 24 years.
Example:- Present times, Fathers age is 3 times that of his son. After 12 years the fathers age will be 2 times that of his son sge.Find the present age.
Soln: Here X = 3 , Y = 2 and T = 12, putting these value in the above trick, then
Father present age = 3[12(2 - 1) / (3 - 2) = 36 years, Son Present age = [12(2 - 1) / (3 - 2) = 12 years and Sum age = [12(2 - 1)/(3 - 2)] (3 + 1) = 12 x 4 = 48 years.
- Son present age = T(X - 1) / (X - Y ) years.
- Father present age = Y[T(X - 1) / (X - Y)] years hoga.

Trick 2:
Present time father age son ki age se X times hai. Agar T years baad father age son ki age se Y times hote hai. Tube- Father present age = X[T(Y - 1) / (X - Y)] years.
- Son present age = [T(Y - 1) / (X - Y)] years.
- Sum age = [T(Y - 1) / (X -Y)] (X + 1) years hoga.
Example:- Present times, Fathers age is 3 times that of his son. After 12 years the fathers age will be 2 times that of his son sge.Find the present age.
Soln: Here X = 3 , Y = 2 and T = 12, putting these value in the above trick, then

Trick 3:
Agar present time father and son ki age ki product X hua and father and son ke age ki ratio A : B hua, Tube
Example:- The product of fathers and son ages 196 and the ratio of their ages is 4 : 1. Find the fathers and sons present age.
Soln: Here X = 196, A = 4 and B = 1. putting these value in the above trick, then
Fathers present age = 4 x Root( 196/4 x 1) = 4 x (14/2) = 4 x 7 = 28 years.
Son present age = 1 x Root(196/4 x 1) = 1 x 7 = 7 years.
Example: Present time, the sum of ages of A and B is 50 years. 5 years ago A age 7 times that of B.Find the present ages.
Soln: Here X =50, Y = 7 and T = 5 years. Then
A-present age = [{50 x 7 - 5(7 - 1)}/ (7 + 1) = (350 - 30)/8 = 320/8 = 40 years.
B-present age = [{50 + 5(7 - 1)}/(7 + 1)] = (50 + 30) / 8 = 80/8 = 10 years.

Example:- The product of fathers and son ages 196 and the ratio of their ages is 4 : 1. Find the fathers and sons present age.
Soln: Here X = 196, A = 4 and B = 1. putting these value in the above trick, then
Fathers present age = 4 x Root( 196/4 x 1) = 4 x (14/2) = 4 x 7 = 28 years.
Son present age = 1 x Root(196/4 x 1) = 1 x 7 = 7 years.
Tricks 4:
Present time A and B ke age ki sum X years hai. Agar T years ago A ki age B ki age se Y times hote, Tube
- A- present age = [{XY - T(Y - 1)} / (Y + 1)] years hoga.
- B- present age = [{X + T(Y - 1)} / (Y + 1)] years hoga.
Example: Present time, the sum of ages of A and B is 50 years. 5 years ago A age 7 times that of B.Find the present ages.
Soln: Here X =50, Y = 7 and T = 5 years. Then
A-present age = [{50 x 7 - 5(7 - 1)}/ (7 + 1) = (350 - 30)/8 = 320/8 = 40 years.
B-present age = [{50 + 5(7 - 1)}/(7 + 1)] = (50 + 30) / 8 = 80/8 = 10 years.
