Percentage is denoted by the symbol % . i.e., 5/100 = 5%, 8/100 = 8% .

Change of fraction into percentage: Multiply 100 with fraction to change into percentage .
i.e., 1/5 = 1/5 X 100 = 20%, 1/10 = 1/10 X 100 = 10%, etc.

Change percentage into fraction: Divide by 100 or multiply by 1/100 in percentage to change into fraction. i.e., 25% = 25/100 = 1/4, 20% = 20/100 = 1/5, etc.

Change decimal fraction into percentage: Multiply 100 with decimal fraction to change into percentage. i.e., 0.25 = 0.25 X 100 = 25%, 0.02 = 0.02 X 100 = 2%, etc.

Change percentage into decimal fraction: Divide by 100 or multiply by 1/100 in percentage to change into decimal fraction; i.e., 25% = 25/100 = 0.25, 30% = 30/100 = 0.30, etc.
